Near Record Temperatures

Wednesday will feature partly sunny skies and temperatures rising into the low to mid-60s. The five degree guarantee is 64 degrees which is almost 30 degrees above-average for this time of year. Temperatures will remain on the mild side tonight under partly cloudy skies and lows in the lower-40s. Thursday will start off on the dry side with highs expected to rise into the upper-50s. Our next system will approach from the Ohio Valley and bring the showers to the Twin Tiers later in the day Thursday. Showers will continue overnight before a strong cold front moves through Friday morning. Rain showers will likely changeover to snow showers before tapering off. Expect temperatures to fall through the 40s into the 30s for Friday. Friday night's lows will be the coldest this week with lows expected to fall into the mid-teens. The weekend will be on the dry side with mostly sunny skies expected Saturday and highs in the lower-40s. Temperatures will rise into the upper-40s Sunday with clouds increasing. By early next week we can expect cloudy conditions to stick around with temperatures ranging in the 40s. Our next system will bring the chance for some showers on Monday.
