Above-Average Temperatures

High pressure will sit to our South today and winds will shift out of the Southwest, ushering in warmer weather for today. A warm front will lift through the region Thursday, increasing cloud coverage as the day goes on. Rain showers will develop Thursday night, with a few snow showers mixing in. Highs will be in the low to mid-50s on Friday. The lower-50s will continue Friday with rain showers likely during the day. Rainfall totals will be around 1/3". The following cold front will sweep through Friday night, with rain showers tapering off by Saturday morning. A few scattered flurries cannot be ruled out either Saturday morning. Behind the front the weekend it looking on the cooler side. Highs will be around 40 Saturday followed by mid-30s for Sunday. It will be mainly dry this weekend with partly sunny skies. The warming trend will return for the first half of next week. Starting out in the upper-40s Monday and rising into the lower-50s by Wednesday. Dry weather and partly sunny skies are expected into mid next week.
