Third Man Indicted in Connection to Qountry Tavern Shooting

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) - A third man has been indicted in connection to a shooting that took place at Qountry Tavern in January.
According to court documents, 23 year old Micah Brown is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. The documents say that Brown allegedly used a pistol or revolver to shoot and kill 34 year old Jeremy Shazer back on January 21st.
This is the third arrest in the case following the arrest and indictment of 29 year old Shamel Swan, followed by 26 year old Zemuyah Graham.
The night of the incident, Elmira Police Officers responded to a shooting on West Miller Street.
According to police, when officers arrived, they located the shooting victim , 34-year-old Jeremy Shazer, who was in the driver's seat of a car.
Shazer was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
