In addition to his athletic accomplishments, Bange has a 4.0 GPA and will earn a full IB diploma upon graduation this year. He says he plans to major in Mechanical Engineering at Dartmouth and is thrilled to have the opportunity to make things official today.

"When I was a freshman, I had no idea where I was going, no idea what I was going to do and I saw all of the seniors doing these signings and I thought it was really cool," Bange said.

He also discussed why he chose Dartmouth.

"It's great running and it's amazing academics, especially the Ivy League. If I ever do get hurt, I have a great education to back it up. I'm not just going for one thing" he said. "The Dartmouth coach, he just had a ring to him that I really liked and he kind of took me under his wing and I just liked the way he handled the whole recruiting process."
