UPDATE 4/18 at 7:25 a.m. -- Pennsylvania State Police named a second person involved in the motorcycle-deer crash. They say that a 47-year-old woman was a passenger on the motorcycle that hit a deer Sunday night. 

She was also ejected from the bike. Wyalusing emergency services took her to the hospital with severe injuries. Neither the passenger nor the driver were wearing helmets or any other protective equipment.

No word from police on how she is doing. 


WYALUSING TOWNSHIP, P.A. (WENY) - A man died on Sunday night a result of a motorcycle accident in Bradford County.

The County Coroner's office was called to a motorcycle versus deer accident that occurred at 9:45 PM Sunday near the intersection of Stoney Point Road on State Route 706 in Wyalusing Township.

The Coroner's Office said the driver of the motorcycle was 47 year old Joel Learn.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.
