OWEGO, N.Y. (WENY) - An Owego man is facing hundreds of sex crime charges in New York and Pennsylvania after being arrested earlier this month by New York State troopers.

According to police, 47 year old Matthew Casterline was arrested for Sex Abuse in the 1st Degree on May 5th. He was also wanted by the Sayre Borough Police Department on 400 counts of sexually related offenses against a child.

According to police, Casterline was located in the attic of the Best Western Hotel in Owego where he worked after a search.

He was brought to the Tioga County Jail for arraignment and processing.
