Southport Town Council Member Running for Re-Election

SOUTHPORT, N.Y. (WENY) - A member of the Southport Town Council is running for re-election.
Dan Hurley said he will be running in the republican primary on June 27th.
He has served on the town council for eight years.
According to his campaign announcement, his re-election platform includes working on a long term plan for town roads, and expanding sewer service.
"With eight years of experience as a council member, I believe now, more than ever that we need to work together as a community-minded, cohesive council that can and should work together and openly in public with our town supervisor. Our town needs a council that they can trust to represent them in an open manner. That is why I am running for re-election," said Hurley.
