Partly sunny skies are expected today with some lingering showers as a low pressure system that has been with us the last couple of days begins to exit the region. Once it exits the region winds begin to shift out of the Northwest ushering in wildfire smoke from Canada. This will cause some hazy conditions, which is why an air quality alert is in effect from much of the viewing area. The hazy conditions will continue overnight and into Thursday. Temperatures will be in the 70s today followed by the 80s Thursday. Drier weather will move in before our next system begins to approach Friday. Temperatures continue in the 80s Friday with late day showers and thunderstorms possible. Showers and thunderstorm chances will continue into the weekend with highs in the lower-80s. Some thunderstorms could contain gusty winds this weekend. The chance for showers and thunderstorms sticks around Monday with the 80s. Fourth of July is looking dry as of now with temperatures in the mid-80s.
