CAMPBELL, NY (WENY) -- Drivers who travel along Interstate 86 in part of Steuben County should be aware of an upcoming lane closure over the weekend.

The New York State Department of Transportation says I-86 westbound between exits 42 and 41 in the town of Campbell will be closed from 7PM Friday, July 21st until Monday, July 24th. The closure will allow road crews to accommodate bridge rehabilitation work.

The off-ramp for eastbound traffic will also close during this time. Drivers should follow posted detours. 

The road is expected to re-open the morning of July 24th.
