Yesterday, monthly rainfall measurements at the Elmira-Corning Regional Airport crossed the 3.5" threshold. This puts us at a rainfall surplus of just above 1.25" through today. So far 17 out of 21 possible days in July have seen at least a trace amount of rainfall, a far cry from the dry June rainfall amounts. The weekend expects to be dry but the next bouts of rainfall could come as early as Tuesday, as a mid-strength disturbance passes through the region.
