HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WENY) -- Sad news for burgers and milkshake aficionados, Friendly's in Horseheads has closed it's doors. The closure came with little publicity, with just a sign on the front door that says 'closed permanently' letting customers know the situation. 

A steady stream of customers continued to pull into the parking lot, surprised to learn that the Horseheads' mainstay had closed. While there has been no official statement on the closure, the Horseheads Friendly's has already been removed from the online restaurant locator on the Friendly's website.
