Stormy Start to Week

Patchy fog will kick off Monday morning for some followed by mostly cloudy skies throughout the day. A few extra minutes could come in hand this morning as you are heading out the door. A few showers and thunderstorms cannot be ruled out but will remain on the scattered side. An umbrella will come in handy over the early parts to the week. Highs will rise into the low to mid-70s. Tonight, showers will continue on the scattered side with lows on the mild side in the lower-60s. Scattered showers will continue Tuesday and into parts of Wednesday as well. Temperatures will climb into the upper-70s Tuesday just to fall back to the low to mid-70s Wednesday. The second half of the work week looks to be drier with plenty of sunshine expected. High pressure will dominate the upcoming weather pattern, even keeping tropical storm Idalia to the South of us. Highs will continue in the mid-70s Thursday followed by the upper-70s Friday. The drier weather looks to continue into the upcoming weekend. Partly sunny skies are likely Saturday as well as Sunday. Temperatures will rise into the lower-80s for the weekend.
