Hot and humid conditions will persist Tuesday with temperatures expected to rise into the lower 90s and heat index values into the mid and upper 90s.  High pressure will remain in control with plenty of sunshine.  Similar conditions are likely on Wednesday, but more clouds will arrive on Thursday with a few showers and thunderstorms possible as a cold front passes through.  More seasonable temperatures will follow over the weekend.
