Cooler temps sticking around as summer comes to a close

High amounts of rainfall could lead to localized flash flooding in the Twin Tiers, the rain trend is expected to finally taper off by Wednesday. In the short term temperatures will make a slight rebound. A few peeks of sunshine Tuesday should see highs approach but not cross 80.
Following some morning showers on Wednesday, the rain should take a break, leaving us dry for the second half of the week and the weekend. Temperatures will struggle to reach 70 on Thursday and Friday.
