A chilly start soon gives way to fair conditions and some areas could even see temperatures climb into the upper 50s. Cloud cover generally stays light today but pressure changes will allow for wind speeds to climb as the day moves along. The weekend is looking dry this time around and temperatures could also be on the mild side as well. Clouds vary across the region but conditions should allow for a fairly pleasant stretch before Monday.

The next batch of rain could be in the area on Monday as a cold front is expected to drape over the region. Some will see showers during the afternoon but the vast majority of the Twin Tiers won't see anything until after sunset. The rain is expected to persist, albeit off and on throughout the week. Multiple disturbances and low pressure systems will bring a host of showers throughout the week, however temperatures are not expected to fall low enough to bring snowfall.
