Cooler Tuesday, Warming Trend Late Week

Partly sunny skies and cool temperatures are expected Tuesday with highs in the mid to upper-40s. Breezy conditions will continue with gusts upwards of 25 mph at times, making it feel like a brisk day across the Twin Tiers. Partly cloudy skies continue overnight, but it will be on the cold side with lows in the low to mid-20s. Winds will shift out of the South resulting in warmer air being pushed into the Twin Tiers starting on Wednesday. Fair skies will continue with highs in the mid to upper-50s Wednesday followed by the lower-60s Thursday. This is nearly 10 degrees above-average for this time of year! Clouds will begin to increase on Friday as a cold front approaches from the West. Late day showers will be possible with highs on the mild side around 60. Behind the front, cooler conditions return to the region with highs in the mid-40s over the weekend. Isolated showers will be possible, but most of the weekend will be dry under partly sunny skies. Highs will continue a cooling trend early next week with highs in the upper-30s and lower-40s.
