Rain and Snow Showers Possible

Mostly cloudy skies will continue Monday as a few snow and rain showers pass by the Twin Tiers. Temperatures will be on the cool side in the lower-40s. Winds will be picking up out of the West with gusts upwards of 25 to 30 mph at times over the next few days. Overnight, a few snow showers will be possible as temperatures fall into the upper-teens and lower-20s. Blustery conditions are expected Tuesday as highs will be in the lower-30s with snow showers possible. Snow accumulation will be on the light side from a coating on the grass up to 1" is possible, especially in the higher elevations. Snow showers will begin to taper into Tuesday night followed by partial sunshine into the middle part of the week. Highs will be rising through the mid-30s and into the mid-40s by Thursday as partly sunny skies continue. A system looks to swing by Friday with scattered showers possible. Temperatures will continue around seasonable in the mid to upper-40s. The weekend is looking dry with highs ranging through the 40s. We could see a few showers developing into later parts of the day on Sunday as another system appears to bring more showers by early next week.
