Showers Continue

Periods of rain will continue Wednesday with heavy rains at time, as low pressure will continue to lift up the East Coast. Rainfall amounts could approach 1" with localized higher amounts possible. Areas with poor drainage could see small urban flooding. Temperatures will be in the upper-40s and lower-50s. Rain showers will continue overnight with patchy fog as well. Lows will be in the mid-40s. Scattered rain showers will continue Thursday and Friday under mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be in the lower-50s on Thursday followed by the mid-40s on Friday. As we look ahead to the weekend, we could see a few showers lingering around to start the weekend. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper-30s Saturday and Sunday. Drier conditions will return on Sunday with mostly cloudy skies continuing. We are starting the new year with temperatures in the mid to upper-30s under mostly cloudy skies. A stray shower cannot be ruled out next week, otherwise it will be mainly dry. Temperatures will be in the upper-30s on Tuesday under partly sunny skies.
