HORNBY, N.Y. (WENY) -- A fire broke out at a home in Hornby shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

It happend on Haradon Road.  According to a firefighter on scene, the fire started in the chimney and spread to other parts of the house.  The Hornby Fire Department and the Corning Joint Fire Department worked together to put out the fire and clear the scene.

There is no word at this time if any injuries were reported.
