Two men sentenced for separate child sex crimes in Schuyler Court
SCHUYLER, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Schuyler County District Attorney announced on Friday, Jan. 19th that two men were recently sentenced for separate child sex crimes. As a result, both men are set to spend multiple years behind bars.
According to the District Attorney, Joshua Maulucci, 40, of Spencer, New York, pleaded guilty on November 2nd to two counts of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child, a Class D Felony. As a result, Maulucci was sentenced to two to six years for each count, meaning he will serve four to 12 years behind bars.
The District Attorney also announced that 56-year-old James Russell of Auburn, New York pleaded guilty on November 16th to Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the First Degree, a Class B Felony. As a result, Russell was sentenced to 12 years in state prison, with 10 years of supervised release.
The two cases were not related.
