CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Ever After Guthrie Corning Hospital Valentine's Ball is happening Saturday Feb. 10. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Guthrie Corning Cancer Center.

The Guthrie Corning Cancer Center provides chemotherapy and radiation therapy for cancer patients in Chemung and Steuben County. Guthrie is a non-profit and relies heavily on donations to operate.

"Our donors are absolutely imperative to the organization, especially to the Cancer Center," said Nichole VanFleet, the Special Event and Annual Giving Officer for Guthrie’s Resource Development Department. "We are excited. We have great sponsorship opportunities for businesses or even individuals. You get great recognition at the event. The best part is your sponsorships will go to benefit the Cancer Center."

The ball takes place at the Corning Museum of Glass from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event includes a complimentary cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and remarks, music performed by the band Into the Spin and a dessert bar.

"So if people are interested, we would love for them to get their tickets sooner than later. Tickets are $150 and our sponsorships range anywhere from $10,000 to $1,500. So there really is a price point for everybody," VanFleet said.
