Reynolds Way Apartments coming soon to Elmira
ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- Reynolds Way Apartments located on 416 East Church Street in Elmira is a newly constructed 41 unit apartment complex consisting of a mix of studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments. Ranging from 430 square feet to 875 square feet in size, the $20 million project is currently being constructed on East Church Street in downtown Elmira. Focused on low and moderate income residents, the newly renovated complex aims to provide safe and affordable housing for the community.
"Hamilton Stern construction is the contractor that Arbor Housing hired to complete this affordable housing project and historical renovation project to bring housing to the Elmira area;" says Project Superintendent at Hamilton Stern Construction, Eric Loitisch.
"Arbors mission is to enhance the quality of lives for the residents in our communities by building independence and creating housing options, New York State and specifically Elmira is in a housing crisis, there isn't enough decent and affordable housing to begin with so by repurposing these buildings bringing them back to their historical significance, we are creating forty one new apartments right in the downtown and heart of Elmira which helps fulfill our mission as well as creating housing for Elmira residents;" says Director of Real Estate Development at Arbor Housing and Development, Danielle Kenny.
There are many amenities included for each resident to make use of.
"Every unit will have a dishwasher for tenants to use, it also has central A.C., there are two community rooms, one with a kitchen in it for tenants to utilize, off and on street parking, as well as laundry available in each building;" says Kenny.
Rent at Reynolds Way apartments will range from $525 to $740 a month depending on the type of apartment.
