WOODHULL, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Steuben County Legislature voted on Monday, February 26th to authorize $160,000 to replace a bridge destroyed by flooding created by Tropical Storm Fred back in 2021. Along with the County money, FEMA has already authorized $1.4 million to help replace Harder Road Bridge.

Along with the bridge, plans are also under way for the reconstruction of a retaining wall near the Tuscarora Creek on County Route 12, which was also damaged during the same flooding. Ever since late August of 2021, the road has been reduced to a one lane road.
