ADDISON, N.Y. (WENY) -- First responders battled a house fire in Addison on Maple Street on Thursday, April 4th. Fire fighters from departments in Addison, Woodhull, Painted Post and more responded. 

First responders on the scene say the family that lived in the house got out safely. Fire officials with the Addison Fire Department say the cause of the blaze is under investigation. 

According to WENY News reporter on the scene, smoke can still be seen coming from the roof.
