(WENY) -- Wednesday evening, the community came together to support Investigator Michael Theetge and his family at a River Sharks hockey game at First Arena. Fans could make donations at the door.

The arena announced last night’s game brought in more than $3,000 between fans and the booster club. This was the second fundraiser hosted at the arena. One on Saturday evening brought in $1,000.

In total, more than $4,000 in donations has been brought in at the arena to help support Investigator Theetge and his family.

Other fundraisers across the area are doing their part to show support, as well. P’s Macarons told WENY News they have already raised over $1,000. Hundreds of shirt orders are flooding in at Finger Lakes Sign & Design. For every shirt purchase, $10 gets donated to the Theetge family.
