ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- Get ready to take a hilarious journey with a musical about adventure and a hint of ogre-sized fun. Based on the beloved DreamWorks animated film, Shrek the musical has a vast group of characters and a lot of laugh-out-loud moments.
 
If it's been a while since you've seen the movie, here’s a quick refresher: "Our unlikely hero, Shrek, embarks on a life-changing quest with a wisecracking Donkey by his side and the feisty Princess Fiona, who's got her ideas about being rescued," says the Shrek Musical Production Team. "Let’s not forget the short-tempered bad guy stirring up trouble, pulling our favorite green ogre into the mix!"
 
Mark your calendars, the musical takes over the Clemens Center stage on May 7th and 8th at 7:30 pm.
