UPDATE, 3:15 p.m. (5/6): According to 511NY, Interstate 86 has reopened after a two car crash closed the highway in part of Steuben County earlier Monday.

CAMPBELL, N.Y. (WENY) -- Interstate 86 is closed between Exits 40 and 41 Westbound in Steuben County due to a two car accident in Campbell, Monday afternoon.

Initial scanner reports say one car rolled over into the median. Crews on scene have requested a helicopter to life flight at least one patient, confirmed by an eyewitness in Savona.

No word from officials yet on the cause of the crash, or to what extent any injuries are.
