DIX, N.Y. (WENY) -- Watkins Glen International is letting people take to the racetrack with their own bicycles Wednesday, May 15. Organizers are billing the event as Bike the Glen, where fans and community members on two wheels can get a feel for what 4-wheel drivers experience on the 2.45 mile-long track.

The Bike Night runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Only pedal powered bicycles are allowed. Electric bikes, skateboards, or any other vehicle are not allowed during Bike the Glen.

Children 12 and under can ride their bikes around the track for free. Those 13 or older have to pay $15 dollars to get in to the event. Kids under the age of 1 are not allowed on bicycles at Bike Night.

Organizers are asking interested attendees to preregister for Bike the Glen by clicking here. You can pay at the event, but cash will not be accepted at the track.
