(WENY) -- Monday, May 27th marks Memorial Day, a federal holiday in which the nation honors the memory and mourns the loss of United States military members who died while serving in the Armed Forces. 

Locally, a number of observances and parades will be held throughout the Twin Tiers. More events will be added as details are made available.
