ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- A car crashed into the His and Hers Hair Salon on West Water Street in Elmira this afternoon. The salon is located in a plaza between Subway and Hollywood Dreams.

According to a reporter on the scene, West Elmira Fire Chief Greg Terpolilli says one woman was injured. The severity of her injuries is currently unknown.

Chief Terpolilli reported that the driver was heading down West Water Street, passing Coleman Avenue, when she attempted to turn and lost control of the vehicle.
