CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- Saturday marked day two of Corning's annual GlassFest, and the community came out in full force to enjoy what the day had to offer.  2024 is GlassFest's 15th year in action.

Regional vendors lined the streets, selling everything from handmade decorations and items, to summer-favorite foods.  People of all ages attended, supporting local businesses on Market Street and enjoying the free event.

There was live entertainment in the form of different music acts every hour, and glass blowing demonstrations by people from the Corning Museum of Glass.

"When we started GlassFest 15 years ago, [The Corning Museum of Glass] agreed to be a sponsor and help us with the entertainment. And this is an amazing entertainment, and it's fantastic because it's available to everybody. You don't have to have admission to the museum to sit and be a part of it, and sometimes lucky people in the crowd get a piece of glass too. So it's a really cool thing, and they are a draw for us too to have people come," said Kristen Brewer, the director of marketing and design for Corning's Gaffer District.

On Saturday night, there are free concert and fireworks until 9:45 p.m.  GlassFest's last day is Sunday, with activities from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
