Significant warmth is expected both next week and towards the end of the current work week. Following a cool evening with lows in the 50s, Thursday highs blossom into the high 80s with mostly sunny skies.

The next batch of rain could move in as early as Thursday night, as showers and possibly some thunderstorms roll in to the region throughout Friday. This could be the last spells of rain we see for a considerable amount of time.

A mid-strength cold front does bring temperatures down for the weekend, with some likely to see highs settle in the mid 70s on Saturday and the low 80s for Sunday. Following the weekend, there's a high chance of highs crossing beyond 90 for the early portion of next week.
