    WAVERLY, N.Y. (WENY) – Three days after a water main break happened in the Town of Waverly, officials say the boil water advisory has been lifted for residents. On Sunday, February 17, a water main broke on Cadwell Avenue, causing parts of the street to be shut down. Initially, water was shut off between Chemung Street and Clinton Avenue before the boil advisory was put into place. Now, officials say the water should be safe to drink without boiling.
